Pros & Cons
Pros
- Stunning Visual Performance: The 4K Quantum Mini-LED display provides vibrant colors, high brightness, and deep blacks that many reviewers compare favorably to OLED technology, making it excellent for HDR content.
- Excellent Gaming Features: With a 144Hz refresh rate, 1ms response time, and HDMI 2.1 support, it delivers a smooth and immersive experience for both high-end PC rigs and next-gen consoles like the PS5 and Xbox Series X.
- Versatile Hybrid Functionality: It successfully bridges the gap between a high-end gaming monitor and a Smart TV, featuring built-in streaming apps, decent integrated speakers, and a convenient remote control for media consumption.
Cons
- Frustrating Software Interface: The Tizen OS is frequently described as slow, laggy, and overly complex, with users particularly annoyed by the lack of a dedicated input-switching button on the remote.
- Persistent Connectivity Bugs: Users report significant issues with the monitor failing to wake from sleep, losing signals on DisplayPort, and experiencing random flickering or artifacts that often require a hard reset.
- Noticeable Motion Artifacts: As a VA panel, it suffers from ghosting and black smearing during fast-paced scenes or when scrolling through text, and the viewing angles can cause color shifting at the edges of the large screen.

Absolutely stupendous!
Verified purchase Verified purchase: This reviewer bought the product.Jason Stempler August 31, 2024Review source: AmazonAs you can see, I’m using three of these beautiful monitors to simrace and play other first person games that support triple monitor setups. This is my first triple build and these are, hands down, the most amazing monitors for the size, performance and price. I don’t even utilize all the other incredible features and apps they come with. Some games don’t support a triple setup and it’s still amazing. It’s great for single monitor play at 43″ and then you can use it as your TV for streaming and many other activities. My AMD Ryzen7 7800X3D CPU and AMD RX7900 XFX Speedster Mercury 310 edition GPU absolutely screams with these monitors and I still have plenty of overhead to upgrade to even better CPU/GPU combinations down the road. Native resolution is 11520×2160, 4k, @144Hz. Boom!

Does NOT support BASIC resolutions.
Verified purchase Verified purchase: This reviewer bought the product.CSpin August 18, 2024Review source: AmazonI purchased this monitor and set it up, hooked up my pc and attempted to launch my favorite game so I could change the settings, to which to was greeted by the screen going black and loading before saying “Your display does not support this resolution” [800x 620, insanely common] and forcing me to hard shutdown my pc and restart it in order to return any functionality of the screen. Didn’t even get to play one game before it proved itself to be an actual downgrade over the Samsung Television from 2014 that it is replacing, thought spending an extra $500 over a TV would have been the right choice but I now need an entirely separate monitor so I can change settings so this one can actually work and do the one thing its supposed to do, display an image. 0 out of 10 stars, would not recommend, save your money and buy a TV because it actually supports normal resolutions.

Awesome monitor
Verified purchase Verified purchase: This reviewer bought the product.Hi Tech Redneck August 18, 2024Review source: AmazonPlaying racing games at around 100 to 144 fps, 4k with ultra details is sweet! System only has a 7900xt in it, so that’s all she push. Big visual difference the 144hz over my old 60hz monitor has. Speakers are awesome as well. Yes the hub interface is annoying and a little sluggish and if you happen to use it last a TV and you have turned the TV off then your computer on you will have to change the input. Doesn’t automatically detect the inputs. Had 1 issue where it failed to display properly when I turned it on, had to unplug and plug the display cable back in. I wish it was just a true gaming monitor and not try to be both that and a TV. Sure it’s not an OLED screen, but paid half as much for it and the colors and games look awesome and in the end that’s what matters to me. Baldurs Gate 2 looks amazing on it.

Great monitor / TV
Verified purchase Verified purchase: This reviewer bought the product.Mr. Mike August 17, 2024Review source: AmazonThis is a great monitor and with the smart TV features like Amazon prime vide, Netflix, etc. great picture quality and really fast refresh rate and response time for flawless gaming. I was considering this or a new OLED, but they are twice the price. Glad I went this route, couldn’t be happier.

Firmware is Hot Garbage
Verified purchase Verified purchase: This reviewer bought the product.Luke August 15, 2024Review source: AmazonThe firmware is absolutely horrible. It ruins what is otherwise a great display panel without all of the garbage it comes with. Why does it need to be connected to the internet? Why does zero shadow mean it actually artificially brightens images when -5 shadow is the actual signal? Can you give me an option that is just the straight up signal without jacking with it? Nobody wants these garbage and gimmicky image enhancements.

TV, Not a monitor
Verified purchase Verified purchase: This reviewer bought the product.EvanR August 14, 2024Review source: BestbuyBought this and returned it.
If you have multiple monitors, absolutely not. It ships with a remote that you are forced to use. Frequently hitting power on means one turns off, the other doesn’t so you hit the button again and the first one cycles off and the other cycles on, its absolutely a chore just to get them both on.
Compound this with ‘power saving’ feature that only keeps it away 60 seconds and doesn’t detect your graphics card unless you unplug/plugin the monitor and even then have to select the proper input (again via the same remote playing detection games!)
I made the mistake of buying four of these – two each for the wife and I. I am being incredibly generous by saying this was a painful experience.
This thing is a TV first and honestly shouldn’t even be billed as a monitor.
I wouldn’t wish this device on my worst enemy.Read More

Fantastic investment. Turn off freesync
Verified purchase Verified purchase: This reviewer bought the product.Frank August 10, 2024Review source: AmazonIt has been a long time since I bought a new monitor.
This is absolutely the best QLED for the money. Fantastic colors, contrast, minimal hotspots, very bright.
It didn’t look so good at first though. In my opinion, turning off freelance, HDR, sector lighting, and basically every inboard enhancement made this look exactly how I wanted. If you’re using it as a monitor, sitting at monitor distance, you it is PLENTY bright. I keep it at half brightness even with natural and artificial light.Great product, it is a perfect fit for me.

If you understand what a VA panel is, and how above average this is for one, it's amazing.
Verified purchase Verified purchase: This reviewer bought the product.What. August 9, 2024Review source: AmazonCrazy native contrast ratio boosted almost exponentially by full array dynamic backlight.
I don’t know if it’s because I’m late in the game or not but all of the displayport drama seems to be over at least when used with AMD graphics cards or routine consumer devices.
Plays nice with HDMI splitters and switches (4K120 4:2:2 over HDMI 2.0 switch and HDMI 2.0 spliter)
Calibration was almost not required, my colorimeter couldn’t find much wrong with it and the before/after calibration images using an Apple TV are virtually identical.
For a weirdo that has crazy good vision and can make out subpixels on this thing from two feet away, I’m more than happy.
The gripes about the smart tv functionality for me are muted by the fact that they sidestep all the DRM and HDCP issues presented by trying to watch 4K HDR movies from any PC regardless of OS.Like it or not, this model is very close to representing the “state of the art” of a 4K VA panel, with the only gripe being the color shifting as this particular panel does not have the sort of layer applied to it that mitigates color shifting.
