    Very happy with this so far.

    I was nervous that my macbook m1 air would have trouble with running a monitor of this resolution. I bought an 8k compatible USB-C to Displayport cable. Still could not get it to work until I unplugged the usb-c to HDMI/USB adapter on the mac’s 2nd thunderbolt port. Now everything works perfectly. It was 100% a limitation of my macbook… not the monitor. Macbook air m1 only supports 1 external monitor, and the mac must have seen the HDMI adapter as a display (even though it was not connectod to an HDMI device).

    MiniLED should outlast OLED, which is another reason I bought this monitor.

    Several of the features that I. Ought this monitor for have not worked since day 1. Samsung has jerked me around for 6 months at this point. I’ve jumped through hoop after hoop, opened 11 tickets which they either ignore or close arbitrarily. They sent a tech out with the wrong part twice, completely missed one, and sent the tech without any parts on another occasion. Samsung will not stand behind this product when you have issues with it.

    If you are planning to use this in a bright room, just skip this. The glare from the monitor make doing work impossible. When I have my door opened behind me, the glare from the back window is like a flashlight staring at me the whole time. I couldn’t even open the curtains on my side window because the glare due to this monitor is curved monitor.

    Don’t believe the hype around this 2024 refresh. I bought 2 of these monitors and the SAME scanline issue from the “previous” model is still present. Its literally the same screen just packaged in a new matt black finish. Terrible product. Absolutely DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. Samsung is a nightmare to deal with as well.
