Standby doesn't work for me.

There is an off timer in the monitor menu, and eco off. Neither of these does what I want. Every other monitor in the history of monitors just goes into standby after a few seconds of no input, why won’t this one? Maybe because I have the response time set to fast? That should have no impact to standby function.
I would not buy this monitor again. I would go with anything else and I am sure that the standby would work fine.
