Manufacturing Error

I’ll mention the manufacturing error now, as that’s a pretty glaring issue, then I’ll have a list of pros and cons.
The defect in the picture attached is on the lower right, seems like there’s a smudge in the screen but it’s not, I’ve cleaned it several times (no liquids) and it will not go away, nor does it show when the monitor is off, so it’s definitely a defect. It isn’t so noticeable, but it’s enough to bug me. It’s only easy to see due to the solid background (I used MS Paint to see it better), normal use makes it difficult to see but it’s there. I don’t think I’ll bother returning it, I don’t want to take the risk of getting a worse defect. But this issue alone makes this a big DO NOT RECOMMEND from me. Unacceptable.
Pros: Adjustable height and tilt, and can turn into a vertical position. Has speakers, though I don’t use them. Assembly was easy. 180hz display with freesync, works great with my gaming pc and now I’ve ruined 60hz on monitors for me :p. Easy to go through the menu with the little nub on the bottom of the monitor, don’t have to reach behind and guess which buttons you’re pressing.
Cons: Was not a glossy screen, it was matte, despite being advertised as glossy. The cable management/hiding feature is cool but the way the ports on the back are set will have you bending the HDMI/DisplayPort cables too much for that to hide these cables, but you’d have to bend them to the point it could damage the ports. Poor viewing angles, I can see the way the light shifts from little movement. Colors are okay, but not the best – had to manually set it to RPG mode to look at all decent. The blur on screen is very noticeable and terrible, it’s especially bad at 180hz – text can sometimes look green when moving it around the screen, I’ve noticed in one fps game where the rail on a gray gun would cause the same green effect very slightly – but I haven’t noticed it while watching videos… yet. The blacks on screen are not deep at all, apparently the feature to get deeper blacks only works with HDMI, I haven’t tested it yet since I use DisplayPort. The bezels are thin, sure, but they fake it by having a bezel inside the monitor, that’s about double or triple the thickness of the actual bezels, but it’s not too bad. The included power supply brick is puny, light, and overall cheap feeling.
If you’re looking to get a relatively cheap monitor just for that 180hz feature, it’s okay. But, I strongly recommend AGAINST purchasing this product. Do a lot of research, and potentially save up to increase your budget. I purchased this for $99, but I think it’s $199 retail, so I only looked at other monitors at $99, I’m certain that if you’re considering this with the $199 price point, then I’m sure there’s plenty of other monitors that are better. Samsung monitors, unless super high end, should be avoided.
