I was initially excited about the Samsung 27” Odyssey G50D. The picture quality is sharp, the motion is smooth, and it performs well for everyday use and gaming. Unfortunately, my experience with the pricing has overshadowed everything else. I purchased this monitor on **10/13/25**, and since then the price has dropped significantly. Best Buy will not credit me the difference, which is extremely disappointing and takes away from what should have been a great purchase. A good product — but a frustrating customer experience.

Sadly I was one of the victims of a stuck green pixel. The policy to replace the monitor or the panel is ridiculous. You need an excessive amount of pixels to be dead or stuck in order to qualify for replacement.
I’m marking three stars because the monitor itself worked, looked amazing, simple to set up and was extremely lightweight which made it easier to mount. But the fact that a defective panel is sent my way and cannot be replaced unless it has multiple issues is absolutely ludicrous.
