A really sharp 24" Monitor
Incentivized Incentivized review: The reviewer received a benefit for sharing feedback.Jason Bernier December 15, 2024Review source: AmazonThis Samsung 24″ monitor comes with the monitor itself, an included stand, and a power cord. The monitor was very easy to setup. It connected very easily to our test system. The screen was clear and it had a great resolution. The included stand does allow you to tilt the monitor to different angles but that is the only adjustment you can make. The monitor has both HDMI and VGA connectors for inputs which is nice so you can connect it to a variety of systems without the need for an adapter. This screen provided the expected excellent visuals from a Samsung device. We would highly recommend.
Overall I believe it is of great value for the cost. As always I will evaluate long term and update with any new information

Efficient and Lightweight 24" Samsung Monitor
Incentivized Incentivized review: The reviewer received a benefit for sharing feedback.CJBS December 15, 2024Review source: AmazonThis Samsung monitor is the same size as my existing legacy 24” monitor, but significantly lighter, and it uses ⅓ of the power at just 25W. The colours are crisp, and the user interface is very simple. Apart from automatically detecting inputs, if any configuration is needed, it can be effected via a single joystick-style button at the back of the monitor. Input is achieved via HDMI cable or VGA, and there’s a power pack that’s separate with a double-insulated input plug.
The monitor comes with a power cable, HDMI cable, a base stand (that connects at the bottom of the monitor), and a manual. There is a cable lock input at the back of the monitor. It also has a standard four-screw attachment feature at the back, to which I mounted my monitor stand attachment (not included).
Overall, this is a basic, power-efficient, quality Samsung monitor.

Solid choice monitor. Great for expanding screens for desk setup.
Incentivized Incentivized review: The reviewer received a benefit for sharing feedback.Alby December 14, 2024Review source: AmazonThis monitor works great as a second display alongside my laptop. The sleek design and slim bezels fit perfectly with my desk setup, adding a clean, modern look. The picture quality is impressive with vivid colors thanks to the IPS panel. The 100hz refresh rate gives smooth performance too. I also like its features that reduce blue light and flickering. Overall, it’s a solid choice for a secondary monitor. Recommend!

100Hz is a huge difference
Incentivized Incentivized review: The reviewer received a benefit for sharing feedback.Fab Or Flop Finds December 14, 2024Review source: AmazonThis monitor’s best feature is that it supports a 100hz refresh rate. This makes a big difference for how “smooth” things feel when you’re playing games or anything is moving on your screen. It won’t make a difference to things that are mostly static, but even moving the mouse around the screen I can see a difference in how smooth things are.
The monitor itself has very little bezel (as you can see in the pics from the MFG). The monitor weighs very very little and is super thin. The back of the monitor has a 100mm vesa mount (the standard size) that is not covered by the included stand. The stand can tilt as mentioned in the listing, but it also includes a small ability to rotate if your desk isn’t level.
It includes an HDMI cable and a power cable that is attached to a small DC power supply.

Samsung quality, great value for a 27 inch display
Incentivized Incentivized review: The reviewer received a benefit for sharing feedback.Scrimshaw December 13, 2024Review source: AmazonThis is a basic, but good quality IPS display. 27 inches for this price is really a good value, and it’s a Samsung, which is obviously a quality brand (even if once in a while there is a problem). The two key metrics here, for me at least, is A) how bright is it, and B) what is game mode? I like very bright displays, and this display does easily get bright enough for me – so that’s a win. Even out of the box at a setting of 50 it was easily bright enough for comfort. I have a much more expensive Samsung OLED display that cannot get anywhere near the brightness of this one — which makes me really like this one better in that regard.
As for game mode – it seems this is just a color/contrast preset, and that fact that it supports 100Hz. It is NOT AMD Freesync for NVIDIA G-sync, so if that’s what you want for a game mode, you won’t find it here. This is just a standard office monitor – it works fine, even for gaming, though I tend to just adjust my display parameters in-game or in my AMD Adrenaline software.
The stand is nothing fancy, but at least it tilts. It only has a VGA and HDMI input, also fairly typical of 1080p displays. The power/control button is one of those tiny little joystick buttons on the back. I don’t love these, but you generally only need to touch it once during initial setup. The menus are easy to navigate, but the features are just basic (brightness, contrast, sharpness). Overall, 5 stars – recommended for it’s great bright picture at a great price.

Very disappointed in Samsung
Incentivized Incentivized review: The reviewer received a benefit for sharing feedback.occasional_purchaser December 13, 2024Review source: AmazonI have two Samsung TVs. They are far from new. Even so, they’re very vibrant and well made. From what I can tell, this is a Samsung-labelled display, just a way to sell the name but not give you what you expect to get with the name. I did not expect such a washed-out appearance to the image. I also did not expect such poor fit and finish to the case. Come on, this is just a flat panel display, how hard could it be to have the case uniformly closed around it? I guess when scraping for profit, nothing is sacred. I understand that Korea has a shame culture. I hope this review helps Samsung recognize they shamed themselves with this product, and will think twice before doing something like this again. I hope my experience has helped in your shopping activity.
