I did not get a chance to try gaming on this screen but from what I saw anything short of high-speed shooters should look excellent.
In the future I’ll probably run 2 or 3 of these together, this screen is an awesome deal for the price charged! Also, tool less assembly of the stand was a nice surprise!

Won't easily turn back on from sleep mode + burnt out pixel

Out of the box it came with a burnt out pixel on the lower left. More frustrating is that it can seem to hold its HDMI signal when I’m waking the computer from sleep mode. My desktop detect the monitor and I can move my mouse over to the extra space, but the monitor is slow to wake, briefly turns on to show my application over there, but then quickly turns off and displays a message that it has no signal and is going back to sleep. It cycles through this issue several times before finall staying on, allowing me to get back to work. I am going to return the monitor and buy a different one.

The panel is VA, but it has terrible viewing angles. The monitor being 32″ unless you never move your head, up, down, strafe left or right… you can see everything, but be slightly off-center and it will look hazy and colors/contrast will be inaccurate.
I could also not get the monitor to calibrate colors within acceptable values. The colors are very incorrect and this should not be used for anything but netflix viewing to be honest.

It has no indicator light to tell you it is on or off. Ok, maybe I can deal with that.
There is a weird multi-position button that mostly doesn’t respond to anything.
That is not ok.
I occasionally see a picture for a split second, then it is gone again.
My Mac laptop recognized the display right away, so I don’ t think that’s the issue.
I cannot recommend getting this display… either it was damaged in the shipping
(some of the styrofoam broken) or Samsung needs to get to work
and improve their interface… OMG. -
