A Great Productivity Monitor

Even just for everyday use like browsing and watching videos, the color accuracy really stands out and makes everything look sharp and natural. The 4K resolution adds that extra layer of detail, making the overall viewing experience great.
The build quality is solid, and the design is sleek—definitely a step up from my old monitor. The adjustable stand is nice to have too, making it easy to get just the right angle. Plus, the eye-saver mode has been great for those longer screen time sessions. It’s definitely easier on the eyes. I initially thought the eye-saver functionality would be kind of gimmicky, but to my surprise, it actually works quite well.
My only gripe is the lack of a Thunderbolt port. In this day and age, having a Thunderbolt connection feels like a must for a modern monitor, so it’s a bit of a letdown not to see it here. But aside from that, the ViewFinity S7 has been an awesome addition to my setup. If color accuracy and crisp visuals are what you’re after, give this a shot. In my opinion, this is a very reasonably priced monitor for what you’re getting.

The price is very competitive for a 4K 32 inch display. As with any flat screen display it has perfect image geometry, and refresh rate is not important for me, so I will not talk about those. The monitor feels surprisingly solid for a budget model, and its ergonomics is excellent. The bezel is extremely thin, like that of a laptop screen. The main control is a four-way stick, conveniently located on the center-back. This means you can put the monitor it in a narrow niche and still have easy access to adjustment. There are DisplayPort and HDMI connectors, but no USB-C, which could be a drawback for those who like to connect their phones. As with most other monitors there is a selection of presets that supposedly work best for videos or games, etc., but I never use those. My major complaint is the contrast; the blacks are not as deep as what you see on IPS panels (or the OLEDs, but that is an entirely different price segment). Still, given its price, I think this product is worth considering.
