I get that it’s only a $200 monitor, but it’s not great. Red text looks really bad — has weird ghosting to it. Blue icons in the Finder look bad — again with weird ghosting. Pictures attached. Also when scrolling, it is very distracting because there is a lot of color ghosting. I’m not sure if I’m going to keep this monitor. Maybe I’m just spoiled from looking at my M2 MacBook screen and my 12yr old iMac screen. I’m not sure if I want to “get used to it,” but again, I’m only paying $200 for a 4K monitor, so maybe that’s what I get.

I got it for running 2 monitors, and my other monitor is only able run on hdmi, so I needed this one to operate on the DP port. It makes no sense to return the item for a couple cables, so I contacted Samsung so see if they would send me replacement cables and while it sounds like they are probably going to send me cables (nothing definitive yet) it took the better part of an afternoon to get a ticket filed for a couple $5 cables. I am fairly certain it is by design in the hopes that you will get tired of wasting your day and give up, but I am stubborn and petty so I saw it through. At this point they have stolen a day from me, so one way or another they are going to give me the effing cables.
