I have not been disappointed with my new SONY. The screen is bright; colors are rich and vibrant.
The home screen gives access to all the streaming apps and other smart features. Included with the purchase is the SONY Pictures Core app, with 5 free and many other included movies.
This TV doesn’t have a NextGen tuner (ATSC 3.0) built in, so I am using an outboard tuner/DVR for those signals.
Watching “The Americas” in full HD and HDR (High Definition and High Dynamic Range) is an excellent demonstration of the picture quality. The TV sound is good and has a range of adjustment options but not comparable to listening with a soundbar or multichannel audio system.
For most, this TV will be an excellent choice for a small living room or family room, with seating under 15 feet from the screen.
I am really happy with this purchase which was an open box item and marked down substantially from the retail price. -
