Do not buy a Sony tv, if you do, don’t waste your money on the extended warranty.
Placeholder January 29, 2025Review source: AmazonI will never purchase another Sony TV. I purchased an 85” Sony Bravia TV less than three years ago along with the Allstate extended warranty. Recently the unit began experiencing screen problems like going to black so we reached out to Sony for a resolution. Sony’s “resolution” was telling us it was a cracked screen which was determined by a “technician” from photos we sent so they determined the warranty wasn’t applicable. Sony’s idea of a resolution was to offer me the same unit with no warranty and at a cost to me of $800.00. The entire process was not a good experience.

Every time i turn it off it no longer recognizes my wifi. I then have to unplug it for 30 seconds to reset. It sees my wifi until i turn it off, then it no longer sees my wifi. It is wall mounted so it is extremely difficult to unplug. Wasted $100 on geek suqad protection. Was tolb by Best Buy that it’s Sony’s problem. Sony doesn’t answer the phone.
