    Now that I’ve had this junk box for a month, I’m really sorry I bought it. Sony is not the company it used to be. Sad. I’m taking Sony to court over this junk box.

    So far this has been a great TV. No issues straight out of the box. The picture quality is excellent. Wr hooked it up to our surround sound but the TV sound is decent as well. It’s nice having a smart TV with all the bells and whistles. We’ve never really fooled with Google TV so that was an interesting experience. Not a heavy TV considering the size.

    Blacks are absolutely perfect, this TV has all the benefits of LED (no burn-in) with the same black levels of OLED for a fraction of the price!
    All the other parameters are perfect as well, the OS it’s snappy, way faster than my older SONY that I have in the living room, the improvements are noticeable, sound is more than adequate, especially on the bedroom, in one word: awesome.

    This is our first smart TV, as my spouse is not tech savvy and wasn’t interested in getting a smart TV. After several years of coaxing, I finally sold him on the benefits of a smart TV and this week we purchased this Sony Bravia. It was installed today by a fantastic Geek Squad employee and we are extremely happy with our purchase.

    Having a smaller home, we purchased the 55″ model with a Sony Bluetooth-enabled soundbar and it’s perfect for us. The images are crisp, clear and bright, and the sound quality without the soundbar was very good. Because my spouse watches mostly sports and action movies, we opted to add the soundbar for the added depth it gives to the audio, which he loves. Though we’re not big streamers, tonight we test-streamed content from a few of the streaming apps we occasionally use via our cable box, and the images and sound were great. As the Geek Squad rep was going through our setup today, I saw that this TV has many features that should meet the needs of those who are frequent users of streaming services/apps. We’ve been Sony TV buyers for a long time and this purchase exceeded our expectations.

    Additionally, I wish there was a way to recognize the great service our Geek Squad rep provided today. He was so polite, professional and helpful in setting up our TV and soundbar and in explaining our new TV’s features to us. He should be commended for the great job he does!
