I love the smart TV since it has all of our favorite streaming services right on the Home Screen. An HDMI with a fire stick or something is not even needed. The picture quality is amazing. We watched 4k drone videos and it felt like you were in the picture. The sound quality is amazing as well it is like surround sound. The size of the TV is nice, but I wish it was a little bigger. As far as value for money, it is a little on the pricier side, but you are paying for the brand and all the features. This TV should last for a long time. I am so happy with my purchase. I highly recommend this product.

But I took off one star for Google TV. Setup requires Google Home which failed. It requires backdooring the security on your router. Thus, you have to turn off your router security. I refused so it didn’t work.
I installed regular TV instead. I noticed that the network came up fine without Google Home. Then I essentially did a manual install of Google TV. After an hour, it worked. Ordinarily I would not have bothered but you need Google TV to install the apps like Disney+. Now everything works and no Google Home and no security holes.I strongly recommend Amazon Fire Cube instead. Much easier and it works with all of your Sony devices including your home stereo equipment. (Old DVD players not so much.)
I still like the TV part very much. The color is great, the 4k scaling is superb. And you can stream 4k to it.
The sound is a question mark. At my age, my hearing is not so good, so I just don’t know. Thought about a soundbar but that may be overkill. -

At this point, I’ve only set it up as a standard TV but once I’m used to its operation via my DISH remote, I’ll activate the Google TV feature.

I took a star off because the picture sometimes looks off to me. We had to adjust settings initially because it wasn’t clear/crisp at all. After adjusting the color almost always looks too pale. That being said our newest
Tv prior to this was atleast 8 years old, so maybe I’m just not up to date on the latest picture quality- but I think I prefer my old TV. -

The colors and display is extremely vibrant and crisp. The blacks are very deep, almost completely void of light. From a picture standpoint for the price, this is the television to buy.
The sound is pretty good on this TV, and it does a good job normalizing the dialogue and the action/music. The audio is clear and doesn’t sound muffled like other flat screens I’ve used. Don’t expect surround sound experience, but it does have good sound for what it is.
The smart TV interface works great. It can get a little laggy at times, but nothing more than any other smart TV that I’ve used. The initial update did take a while but after that it’s been working seamlessly. The remote is rather bulig and ugly but it is intuitive, and not annoying like the LG pointer.
Overall, this is a great TV for the price point and it really does have a display that feels like a much more expensive television.
