Look, if you want a punchy bright vibrant tv get a samsung or tcl. If you want actually great PICTURE QUALITY with crazy good upscaling, get this tv. I walked in ready to buy a tcl qmk6, but the sales rep swayed me to this. No crazy over saturation and really great visual more akin to how directors intended content to be seen. Only negative is slight blooming in really dark scenes but really zero regrets with legendary sony quality.
