I understand this is not a top of the line TV image but here are the things that make it stand out against competitors for a computer monitor:
• The 4K @ 43″ is a good combo for desktop, icon, and text size.
• Unlike others, this is an IPS panel. Less deep blacks but much better off angle viewing. Important for hours in front of close viewing.
• In Graphics or Game mode the HDMI port can be put into a real 444 colorspace and text no longer has color fringing. It is really great for computer text.
• Doesn’t have burn-in with static images up for a long time.
$500 is great for a computer monitor like this. -
