    Vitamix Ascent X2 Blender, Pro-Grade, 3 Preset Blending Programs, 48-ounce Container, Self-Cleaning. This new Vitamix model is a replacement for an older model Vitamix. I wanted the updated, new model and plan on passing on the older model to my DIL. I got the Polar White model and it looks so nice. The 48 oz container works well even with extra small batches and of course, with full-size batches. I have been making smoothies every morning – they are easy to fix. The 3 present blending programs are so easy to use, press a button. I also like the easy self-clean function. Put a little warm water in the container and a drop or two of dish soap, push a button and wait a few seconds while the soapy water is swished around the container. Empty the soapy water, rinse with clean water and you are ready to go. This blender is game to deal with any ingredients I throw its way. I have been so pleased with this new Vitamix and impressed with its blending programs and functions. And I was happy with the older model. I can’t recommend this new Vitamix highly enough. All I can say is to run, run out to get this new model. You will not be disappointed.

    This thing did not work!! I think i got shipped something someone else sent back. After taking pictures and looking at it, I see its all scuffed up, it looks used and worn. The video is after 3 tries this is the 4th time in a row that i tried to make this smoothie and i got nothing!!….for $586 are they crazy!! sending back ASAP….done with Vitamix. The thing that really makes me angry is that now I have to get in an uber ($40) to take this thing to UPS to ship it back. I am too through!

    I use this every day! Finally a blender that can truly blend ANYTHING. Today, I made my own peanut butter and it has the perfect, creamy consistency. Easy to clean and operate. I definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to use it for multipurpose use!

    Who doesn’t love an appliance that cleans itself? This blender is packed with features and can do just about anything. We have used it in our kitchen and in our home bar and it was worked perfectly with every task. Blended drinks are the best we have ever made! I love that it can make hot soups as well, we just started using the feature now that it’s getting colder and it saves so much time and effort. I cannot recommend this blender enough!

    Calling a Vitamix a blender is an understatement. It is a superior kitchen appliance for any type of mixing and blending you need or want to do. My favorite feature is being able to literally make any blended hot soup or sauce with just this machine. The item description is accurate to functions and features available. I love having it in my kitchen for every day use.

    I have owned so many blenders. This is my fist vitamix, and I must say, Ill never go back. Everything just seems to work better with it. Its tight, powerful, and most importantly, actually mixes, unlike the blender with the squarish container where stuff gets stuck in the corners… Its expensive, but you will not be disappointed.

    Shipping was ok. The blender arrived with no issues. For this blender it has a good motor and blends a healthy amount of items. Since procuring this item I have started making my own smoothies and freezing them along with my periodic meal preparation. If you have a deep freezer or French door fridge with larger freezer storing the smoothies in 8-10 ounce portions can be helpful. One of the better blenders on the market I assess so far based on a few weeks of use. Also handwashing is recommended in warm soapy water.

    I feel very blessed to have received this blender through the Amazon Vine Program. It’s absolutely amazing. This is replacing a budget friendly brand of high speed blender that I have been using for the past couple of years. I make smoothies several times per week, and use it for other things like soups, purees, sauces, etc. less often.
    First thing I noticed upon unboxing is the build quality and how much heavier the base is compared to my older blender. And then after using it for many smoothies over the past few weeks, I have “witnessed the whirl” and found it to be so powerful, efficient and thorough at mixing up my crazy blends. It pulverizes carrots, ginger, seeds and anything else I throw at it. The presets are nice and easy, and so is cleanup (I generally just give it a quick wash at the sink but you can also run a blend cycle with some soapy water).
    The lid took a tiny bit of adjustment for me, as it is a rigid plastic and I’ve always had a flexible rubber type lid. But that’s no biggie. Also the included silicone sleeve to slide onto the handle slips a little bit (but not off the handle) again not a biggie. The real thing that matters is the performance.
    And it performs mightily. I can’t wait for the weather to cool down into soup season so I can try that function, as well as nut butter.
    I wish there was a smoothie cup attachment, like on my older blender, but the superior performance more than makes up for not having that option.
    Vitamix isn’t cheap, but if you use a blender often and can squeeze it out of your budget, this Vitamix blows the competition out of the water.
