Pros & Cons
Pros
- Exceptional Blending Performance: The powerful motor easily pulverizes tough ingredients like kale, frozen fruit, and nuts, producing a homogenous, silky consistency that users claim surpasses cheaper brands and coffee shop quality.
- Convenient Self-Cleaning Function: The dedicated cleaning cycle allows users to clean the jar quickly using just warm water and a drop of soap, which many reviewers find saves time and encourages more frequent daily use.
- Durable Build and Long Warranty: The machine is described as a sturdy, professional-grade 'beast' built to last for decades, supported by an industry-leading 10-year warranty that justifies the initial investment.
Cons
- High Noise Levels: Multiple reviews highlight that the blender is extremely loud during operation, with one user measuring it at 101 decibels, which can be startling for pets and annoying for household members.
- Premium Price Point: Many customers find the blender to be a significant financial investment, noting it is much more expensive than basic or mid-market alternatives, which may not suit casual users.
- Reliability and Sensing Issues: Some users experienced technical failures, including motors breaking within months, units overheating during thick blends, or the base failing to detect the jar on the unit.

Nano Grey
mac girl* October 20, 2024Review source: AmazonThis is my second Vitamix. The first I have used for 15 years and it still works great!! I will be gifting the old one to my little sister and keeping the new Ascent X2 blender.
I love the modern styling and this one (just barely) fits under my cabinets when assembled. It stands about 17.5″ tall with the lid on. The pitcher, by itself is 11.5″ tall. I made some berry milkshakes with the first try. I set on the shake option and put in frozen whole berries, milk, and honey. It blended to perfect drinkable consistency in 45 seconds. I no longer have to manually pulse or change speeds because the machine does that for me! I did not even need to use the tamper.
One thing I really appreciate about Vitamix is they are SO easy to clean. When you are done, pour water into the pitcher and turn it on. The water rinses all the parts the first try. For stubborn thick mixes, you can add a drop of soap, but I rarely need to. This blender is awesome and will for sure last me the next 15 years. -
Worth the hype
Calvin October 18, 2024Review source: AmazonI’ve only owned two separate blenders in my life, a cheap one and a competitor brand to Vitamix that’s at a much more manageable price point. When I saw the opportunity to try the Vitamix, I was curious to know if it would live up to the name brand. Long story short, yes, absolutely.
The build quality from the hefty stand to the powerful motor really stands out, and I can see this standing the test of time, especially knowing it’s backed by a 10 year warranty.
The core usage I look for in a blender is ease of use for things such as smoothies and soups, and I have to say the preset options work very well. Better than expected actually, as I usually like to tinker around with a more manual pulse but I didn’t see the need to with the program.
The digital timer is clear and provides ease of mind, it really becomes a set it and forget it. The blades and motor are really powerful and have handled everything I’ve thrown at it with no issues. Very impressed!

Vitamix is quality
Nicole Del Sesto October 18, 2024Review source: AmazonThis is a smaller sized Vitamix. 48-oz vs the club store at 64, so you need to decide which size is right for you. They perform very well, and this is a great size for the smaller use.

Love the muddler that comes with it
Nicholas G. October 16, 2024Review source: AmazonThis blender is powerful and efficient. It makes blending effortless, and the self cleaning feature is a huge time saver. The design also looks sleek in my kitchen.

Wow- powerful, easy to use, best blender ever
delhokie October 15, 2024Review source: AmazonThis is a huge jump from my cheap sub-$40 blender! This thing has some serious horsepower and is so easy to use! I used someone’s Ninja blender that had the blades coming up the middle and I was not sure how this wold work in comparison, but that tamper is extremely useful. I did some cashew butter and had a hard time getting it all out from under the blades since they don’t just pop out of the bottom. But other than that small inconvenience, it is fantastic!

Must have in every kitchen!
CC34 October 10, 2024Review source: AmazonIf you don’t have a Vitamix mixer and you love to cook and or make smoothies a lot, you need to order one asap. This blender is a game changer in our home. I use it almost every day, which is way more than most appliances in my house. This blender is the BEST smoothie maker hands down. My kids and nieces and nephews say this makes better smoothies than Smoothie King. Which is funny, since they use this brand of mixer in all their stores. This blender is multi functional also, as it can blend up soups so quickly. My most favorite feature is the cleaning feature. You can add water and soap to the blender and turn it on and it cleans itself. Another feature I love is that it is non slip. If you turn it on and walk away, it is not going to move all over your counter. I’m not joking when I say that this appliance is tied as my favorite appliance in my house (it’s tied with my Kitchenaid mixer.) But if you don’t have one of these, you need it.

Incredible
Customer October 10, 2024Review source: AmazonI cannot believe I finally own a Vitamix. This model is an incredible value. The self-cleaning feature is amazing. We’ve been on the carnivore diet for months now and this thing makes the best “carnivore pasta” ever. Highly recommend.

The best blender I've ever used
DG October 7, 2024Review source: AmazonI’ve had many different blenders, ranging from cheap bullet styles, to Osters, to Ninja blenders. This blender outworks all of them and it’s not even close. This thing truly is a professional. It blends everything you throw at it and has plenty of pre-programmed options to choose from. You also have the options to choose pulse, variable speed, and a timer. My favorite setting is self-clean; it saves me a ton of time. I’ve never had a blender that properly cleaned just by running it, but the vitamix has nailed this down using just soap and water. Additionally, the finish a nice and this blender is sharp looking on the counter. Extremely happy with the purchase and cannot recommend it enough if you can afford it.

Vitamix Ascent X2: High-End Performance Meets Sleek Design
ToCPap October 7, 2024Review source: AmazonI recently tested the Vitamix Ascent X2 through the Amazon Vine program and was immediately impressed. As my first venture into the world of high-end blenders, the Ascent X2 stands out with its user-friendly controls and exceptional performance. Previously, I hesitated due to the price and my infrequent use of blenders, but this machine has become a fixture in my kitchen, perfect for daily smoothies and shakes.
The self-cleaning feature is a game-changer—just a quick soap and water cycle, and it’s spotless, removing the usual hassle of cleanup. The sleek design fits beautifully with my kitchen aesthetics, particularly in white. It blends ingredients smoothly, handling everything I throw at it with ease, truly a notch above any blender I’ve owned.
The price tag is hefty at $549, making it a significant investment, especially for casual users like myself. My only gripe is the tamper holder; it tends to come loose, which can be a minor annoyance. Despite this, if the cost isn’t a deterrent, I highly recommend the Ascent X2—it might just be the last blender you’ll ever need.

"All That and a Bag of Chips" as we used to say. Lol.
Lala October 5, 2024Review source: AmazonThis blender is something else. It looks so sleek and stylish on my countertop and it goes great with stainless steel appliances.
It’s super simple to operate and everything’s digital, so you don’t have to babysit it or hold any buttons down manually. I’ve even put carrots in this thing and juiced them completely, which I love.
I had actually bought a juicer earlier this year, but I hate how I have to babysit it and feed it carrots by hand. With this blender, I can just chop them up, put them in, and let it do its thing. It’s that strong!! Plus, I don’t waste any of the fiber or vegetables in the process.
I can’t wait to start making soups with this in the wintertime as it gets cold. You can even make delicious acai bowls with this.
The self-cleaning option is awesome, and I haven’t had the need to scrape any blades by hand yet.
If you’re on the fence about this and wondering if it’s worth the investment, it definitely is. Plus, you get a 10-year warranty. Even large appliances don’t give you that, so that tells you this thing is a powerhouse built to last.
