Pros & Cons
Pros
- Exceptional Value: Reviewers frequently highlight the monitor as a 'steal' for its price, offering high-end specs like 1440p resolution and a 180Hz refresh rate that typically cost much more.
- Highly Adjustable Stand: The build quality is praised for being sturdy and premium, featuring a tool-less assembly and a stand that allows for extensive height, tilt, swivel, and pivot adjustments.
- Smooth Gaming Performance: Users report buttery smooth gameplay with no screen tearing or ghosting, thanks to excellent G-Sync and FreeSync compatibility across PC and modern consoles.
Cons
- No Integrated Audio or Aux Port: A major complaint is the total absence of built-in speakers and a 3.5mm headphone jack, which complicates audio setups for console gamers who do not use headsets.
- Underwhelming HDR: Multiple reviews describe the HDR performance as 'terrible' or 'unusable,' noting that it often results in low brightness and washed-out colors.
- Calibration and Tint Issues: Some customers reported that the display had a noticeable blue or orange tint out of the box, requiring significant manual calibration to achieve accurate colors.
Customer Fit
- Primary audience: Competitive and mid-core gamers who want fast, tear-free 1440p performance on PC or console, with high refresh rate, low latency feel, and adaptive sync.
- Secondary audience: Multifunction home users (work + play) who split the screen for emails, documents, or multiple tabs and still want sharp, comfortable visuals.
- Ideal scenarios: Fits desks where a 27" display is the “sweet spot,” replaces older 1080p panels or living-room TVs, supports Xbox / PS-style console gaming at high frame rates, and doubles as a daily work monitor.

Best price to performance and quality
Verified purchase Verified purchase: This reviewer bought the product.Ayoub December 3, 2025Review source: AmazonAmazing panels and colors. Comes with everything you need, and it’s, hands down, the easiest setup I have done so far. Would definitely buy it again. I am currently using it as an extension to my Laptop, but I would definitely keep it once I upgrade to a PC. I usually play League of Legends, Valorant, E33, WWM, and Sekiro. They all work great!

Great build quality & supports PS5 VRR, Terrible HDR performance
Verified purchase Verified purchase: This reviewer bought the product.bmgrimaldo December 1, 2025Review source: AmazonBought this monitor on sale for 179.99 because it was capable of supporting the PS5’s Variable Refresh Rates feature. The build quality, color accuracy and refresh rate are all great, but the HDR performance is terrible. It’s practically unusable due to the low brightness that cannot be adjusted with the SMART HDR setting on. Keep that setting off and set the monitor’s brightness to your heart’s content. I personally don’t care for HDR, so I am giving the monitor five stars.

My Frist QHD gaming monitor…
Verified purchase Verified purchase: This reviewer bought the product. Incentivized Incentivized review: The reviewer received a benefit for sharing feedback.DominadorU November 30, 2025Review source: BestbuyMy first gaming monitor @ 2k purchased under $200.00 before black friday 2025 $189.99 just $10 more than black friday price. I had purchased this monitor over Samsung G5 $199.99 and LG $189.99 due to detail spec, other monitor had offered display port 1.4 but hdmi 2.0. The AW2725DM has 2.1 hdmi port and 1.4 display port. Using display port bring max 180hz, if purchased a 2nd monitor using hdmi port would have been 144hz with my pc setup. Over all I’m happy with this purchase.
I’m a gamer who finally graduated from console (Playstation) to having a Legion Go to building my first Gaming PC (before the rise from He11 prices again from AI)
