    Best Buy had my back when Canon support did not. Mia at Park Meadows (SE Denver) location bedazzled me with her prompt, excellent service.

    This is a really cool auto duplex printer, scanner, copier etc…
    I finally moved away from problematic Ink Jet printers but found myself in yet another printer entanglement.

    I bought the MF753cdwii online and it was streaking right out of the box. Spent 4 hrs and a good deal of the starter toner troubleshooting with Canon support. They were knowledgeable and after much troubleshooting and sending of pics etc… they said they were sending a replacement. So….

    Well, it arrived yesterday and… they sent my a poorly packed (in a dif copier box) and poorly secured REMAN / REFURB unit.

    Unbelievable that they would have THAT policy for someone with an issue for a brand spanking new unit right out of the box . The reman is headed straight back and Best Buy provided a replacement that is working fine. What a waste on shipping and everyone’s time.

    All Canon had to do was send me a new, properly packed replacement and I would have been delighted. Instead I packed up the bad one and the Reman, drove 80 miles RT to BestBuy (who swapped me a dif unit), and shipped their reman back to them.

    This printer won’t let me install the Canon software.
    The Windows App for Canon won’t connect to the printer.

    I called Canon support. Spent an hour with the support tech.
    Even he could not get this to work.

    Now today I need to scan some Docs. It won’t connect.

    Absolute GARBAGE!
    WILL BE RETURNING.
    BUYING AN HP.

    Was looking for a reliable laser printer for small business. Was excited to get away from HP and into this Canon 753 CDW II. This thing is an absolute mess. Loud humming when it kicks on that won’t go away till it goes back to sleep. Constantly disconnects with network and won’t print. Trying to get it to scan to the computer was a nightmare. Everything was one error after another. Sent it back for a Brother 8930 CDW and couldn’t be happier with the Brother.

    This printer is the real deal. Everything was very simple to set up. There were even directions on the box as to how to take the printer out of the box. There’s a QR Code to scan in order to download the driver and set everything up.
    It is heavy and the packaging advised for two people to lift the printer if it needs to be carried. I set it up to print wirelessly and it connected to my network with no problems.
    It has six different screen menus that you can customize yourself. All of the menus come labeled, custom one etc and you can change them.
    So that’s nice. I have a very difficult time at work getting use of the printer, especially for color so this is gonna work wonders. I did find that it didn’t really want to register my touch for the back button on the screen. However, it might just be me because that happens at work too. It was only the back button that was in the upper left corner. All of the other options responded well. It is a bit noisy but I have it on the floor right now so that may play into the acoustics.

    After using this for a little over a month, I really haven’t had ANY issues. And I am not the most patient tech savvy person out there. It does everything we needed, plus it can even print documents from my phone. Amazing!! It has duplex printing but NOT for papers in the multipurpose tray (I tried to duplex a 5×7 but it did not work). But you can customize and enter in any sized paper on the printer itself which is so convenient. It connects fast and without issue, and the quality of the color printing is pretty good. There are a ton of settings you can change that can enhance your color printing as well and it is good overall brightness and quality. The colors are superb. The size of this printer is really great. Especially for an office. It has worked well and seems to be worth the price! We are impressed. Perfect for a small office. Prints really fast.

    The serial number on the printer indicates the product is not intended for sale in the US so it cannot be registered for a warranty. There is no contact number or any way for me to contact the seller. This is extremely poor. There was nowhere on the webpage stating the printer was not intended for sale in the US.

    I have been through a couple of HP printers so far and they have just not been very durable. I was advised by a printer tech to try a Canon printer so this is my attempt. At first glance this printer is not as compact as the HPs that I have previously had but luckily space was not a huge issue for me. I will also say that the initial set up was a little more involved that the HP set up was but it was still not that bad, just a few more steps. I can say that the performance so fare has been as good if not better than the HP that I have owned. Printing is quick and it seems to be a little bit more quiet than the HP. Scanning and copying are pretty straightforward and again on par with HP. The only other con I have with Canon is that the unit is much heavier than the HP probably my 15 to 20 pounds. But I think overall so far I am very happy. If Canon can improve set up and maybe make it a little more compact it would move me to a 5 star review.
