    There are some good things about this printer. For example, the print quality is very good, the set-up is easy, and the unit is light weight and compact However, the home screen is tiny (1″x1″) making it impossible to read without a magnifyer. Additionally the action buttons on the unit surface are barely readable because they are so small and lightly printed. Too bad that a potentially good printer was ruined by the short-sighted designers. I suspect that the next version will address these issues. I would NOT recommend this printer, unless one has extremely well developed eyesight.

    I’m so glad I paid a little extra and got this printer. First one that said it prints double sided that actually does. Very easy to set up with phone if you don’t have a computer or laptop. I will hook it up to my laptop eventually but haven’t yet. Mostly print from my phone anyway.

    This is my second Epson printer. The first one lasted five years but because I don’t do a lot of printing the printer head became hopelessly clogged. Head cleaning and power cleaning did not resolve the problem. If you don’t do a lot of printing I recommend that you print out any one of the test patterns that are available at least once a week. If you print a lot this won’t be a problem.

    I bought this to replace my old ET-4550 Epson inkjet printer after reading lots and lots of reviews from Canon, Brother and Epson inkjet printer purchases. Ultimately I decided to stay with the Epson brand and I am glad I did. Features I really like about this model include a more compact footprint, rear paper feed, retractable paper output tray, easy setup using Epson app on the phone, easy access to the ink tanks whose fill lines are visible from the front of the printer, and seamless wireless connectivity. I have been able to print wirelessly from my laptop and cell phone without any problems. Great design with no issues so far. Nice job Epson. The only downside I can see so far is the smaller color screen display.
