Maybe I got one made last thing on a Friday but last time I tried to make a smoothie, following the instructions that say start with soft fruit, I put the following into it: water over minimum fill line, then orange slices, followed by cubes of apple, sliced ginger, fresh spinach, cube of ice. The blade span for half a second, decided it was blocked... OVER 20 TIMES. Didn't even make it through the orange. Took me 10 minutes to make a smoothie my £10 Tesco blender would have done in 10 seconds. Will be returning imminently.

first one that I was sent had a faulty charger port. returned it. was sent another. you do not want to be in a hurry when you use this. It takes forever to charge....does not work if plugged in and charging, you have to wait so a speedy breakfast smoothie is not possible. Absolute waste of money. I usually love Ninja products but this one was a serious mistake and is not fit for purpose.

Great blender. Once a day at work I’ll tip a can of fruit in juice (fruit cocktail, peaches, pears, mango) in to the ninja and whiz it up. Makes a delicious drink and helps me hit my five a day.
